ABOUT EF600

The EF600 pressure, vacuum and breather safety valve is a configurable relief platform for protecting vessels, process equipment and vent systems against positive pressure, vacuum or both conditions. The same product family can be specified as a pressure relief valve, a vacuum relief valve or a combined pressure-vacuum breather valve according to the required function.

Its compact multi-size design covers nominal sizes from DN20 to DN150. Published calibration ranges extend from +0.01 to +5 bar(g) for positive-pressure relief and from -0.01 to -0.9 bar(g) for vacuum relief. The series has a published maximum allowable pressure of 10 bar(g) and a temperature envelope from -40°C to +200°C, with final limits depending on material, seat, size, connection and service conditions.

Stainless steel 316L is the standard construction, with Hastelloy available for more demanding media. Metal seating is standard, while Stellited metal, EPDM, FKM, FFKM and virgin PTFE seat options allow the sealing arrangement to be matched to chemical compatibility, tightness and temperature requirements. Connection choices include male or female BSP/GAS and NPT threads, EN 1092-1 or EN 1759-1 flanges, ISO and DIN hygienic clamps, SMS 1145 and engineered connections on request.

The EF600 is suited to chemical, petrochemical, gas, storage-tank, food-and-beverage, cosmetic and pharmaceutical duties where compact installation and broad configuration flexibility are required. An inductive position sensor and atmospheric outlet arrangements can be specified. PED/CE, ATEX and project documentation are evaluated for the selected configuration and application rather than assumed universally.
