From the EFS Archive · 2004
This article belongs to the historical archive of EFS Engineering Fluid Solutions and reflects one of the company’s early international trade fair activities.
First participation together with Empaquetaduras Trenzadas Calvo
EFS Engineering Fluid Solutions attended Valve World 2004, held in Maastricht, The Netherlands, from 9 to 11 November 2004, within the Spanish group participation coordinated by FLUIDEX.
The exhibition was attended together with our sister company Empaquetaduras Trenzadas Calvo, through a joint stand that allowed us to present an initial combined proposal for industrial valves, fluid control solutions and sealing products to the European market.
For EFS Engineering Fluid Solutions, a company in its first year of activity, Valve World 2004 represented a valuable opportunity to meet customers, distributors and valve industry professionals, mainly from different European markets.
Products presented
During the exhibition, EFS Engineering Fluid Solutions presented two main product ranges focused on practical industrial applications, reliable operation and simple maintenance.
AISI 316 stainless steel float valves
One of the product ranges presented was our AISI 316 stainless steel float valves, available from 1/2” up to 4”, with float diameters from approximately 90 mm up to 400 mm.
These valves are designed for automatic mechanical level control in tanks, vessels and industrial systems where a simple, robust and reliable solution is required.
- storage tanks,
- water tanks,
- process tanks,
- industrial level control systems,
- pasteurizers,
- food and beverage installations,
- auxiliary plant services,
- automatic tank filling,
- applications requiring level control without complex instrumentation.
The AISI 316 stainless steel construction makes them suitable for services where corrosion resistance, hygiene, durability and low maintenance are important factors.
Pressure reducing valves for steam, air and gases
EFS Engineering Fluid Solutions also presented a range of pressure reducing valves for steam, air and gases, available from 1/2” up to 4”.
These valves are intended for installations where a higher inlet pressure must be reduced and a more stable downstream pressure is required for the equipment or consumption point.
- steam distribution lines,
- compressed air networks,
- industrial gas systems,
- auxiliary plant services,
- process equipment protection,
- pressure regulation before consumption points.
This range complements the EFS Engineering Fluid Solutions proposal for industrial services where pressure regulation, reliability and correct valve selection are essential.
A useful meeting point with European customers
Valve World 2004 provided a useful meeting point to introduce our company, explain our service proposal and better understand the needs of customers and contacts from the valve sector.
The exhibition allowed us to hold conversations with professionals from different European countries, share technical information about our initial product ranges and learn more about market expectations regarding product quality, documentation, response time and technical-commercial support.
For a young company such as EFS Engineering Fluid Solutions, this first presence at Valve World represents an important step in developing commercial and technical relationships within the European industrial valve market.
Thank you to our visitors
We would like to thank all customers, visitors and contacts who spent time with us during Valve World 2004.
Their interest, comments and enquiries help us continue developing a product and service proposal adapted to the real needs of industry.
