EFSVALVES was pleased to take part in Valve World 2024, held from 3 to 5 December 2024 at Messe Düsseldorf, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Valve World is one of the most relevant international meeting points for the industrial valve sector. For EFSVALVES, the event was an excellent opportunity to meet customers, partners, engineers, distributors and industry specialists, while presenting part of our product range for fluid control, pressure protection, corrosion resistance and water treatment applications.
For us, Valve World is more than a trade fair. It is a technical meeting place where real project challenges are discussed face to face: material selection, corrosion resistance, delivery times, technical documentation, pressure equipment requirements and the need for reliable valve solutions in demanding industrial environments.
A Technical Showcase for EFSVALVES Solutions
During the exhibition, EFSVALVES presented a selection of products aligned with several of our key markets, including desalination, reverse osmosis, seawater treatment, chemical process, energy, petrochemical and general industrial applications.
Our booth included examples of:
- Safety valves and pressure relief valves for industrial pressure protection.
- Rupture discs as part of complete overpressure protection strategies.
- Superduplex valves for demanding seawater and corrosion-resistant applications.
- Needle valves and check valves for high-pressure and regulation services.

Focus on Desalination, Reverse Osmosis and Seawater Treatment
One of the main areas highlighted during Valve World 2024 was our experience in desalination, reverse osmosis and seawater treatment.
These applications require careful material selection, especially when dealing with chlorides, seawater, high pressure and long-term corrosion risks. For this reason, EFSVALVES continues to develop and promote solutions in duplex, superduplex and other corrosion-resistant materials, helping customers select the right valve configuration according to the application, pressure class, connection type and operating conditions.
Products such as 3-piece ball valves 800 lbs in superduplex, needle valves, check valves and other corrosion-resistant valve solutions remain especially relevant for these sectors.
Corrosion-Resistant Valves for Chemical and Process Industries
Valve World 2024 was also a good opportunity to discuss the growing demand for corrosion-resistant valve solutions in chemical process industries, fertilisers, aggressive media and industrial plants where exotic alloys are not always the most efficient option.
In this context, PTFE and PFA lined valves offer an interesting alternative for many applications, combining chemical resistance with a more controlled cost and, in many cases, more competitive delivery times than fully exotic alloy valves.
This approach is particularly valuable when customers are looking for practical solutions that balance chemical resistance, mechanical reliability, cost control, availability, compatibility with project specifications and long-term maintainability.
Pressure Protection: Safety Valves and Rupture Discs
As part of our long-standing activity in pressure protection, EFSVALVES also presented solutions related to safety valves, pressure relief valves and rupture discs.
These products remain essential in many industrial sectors, especially where equipment protection, process safety and compliance with pressure equipment requirements are critical.
Our experience in this field allows us to support customers not only with product supply, but also with technical clarification, documentation review, project follow-up and coordination with inspection requirements when needed.
