Start by configuring your valve
Select the valve and enter its process conditions first. If actuation is required, the RFQ will continue to the compatible actuator and retain the valve data automatically.
Use actuator-only configuration for an existing or third-party valve.
The EFJ4C electric quarter-turn actuator is engineered to automate industrial ball valves and butterfly valves operating through a nominal 90-degree movement. Six actuator sizes cover torque requirements from 20 to 300 Nm, supporting automated isolation, flow control and process-valve operation across water treatment, desalination, chemical processing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and general liquid-service applications.
A brushless electric motor, electronic torque limiter and standard voltage-free open and closed position contacts support dependable integration into industrial control systems. The IP67 enclosure incorporates visual position indication, a declutchable manual override and thermostatically controlled internal heating to help reduce condensation.
EFJ4C can be configured for straightforward On/Off operation or DPS digital positioning using 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-10 V or 1-10 V signals. Optional BSR battery backup can move the valve to a predefined open or closed safety position following loss of external power. Bluetooth communication and Modbus integration are also available for projects requiring local configuration, diagnostics or networked control.
When EFJ4C is supplied with an EFSVALVES valve, our engineering team verifies the operating and breakaway torque, safety margin, mounting interface, output drive and actuator size. Customers therefore configure the valve and the required electrical functionality without having to calculate mechanical selection data. EFJ4C may also be requested separately for an existing third-party valve, subject to review of the valve datasheet and torque information.
